At St. Matthew's, worship is the heart of what we do. We are a community that is on a spiritual journey. From our oldest to youngest members, tallest to smallest, we gather to worship with all of who we are and all of what we carry. Worship is a place for us to gather and find shelter in the most difficult of times, and also a place for us to share our great joy with a community where we are welcome to be our whole selves.
While Sunday morning is our primary time to worship, there are many opportunities to gather for prayer and song throughout the seasons.

Our 10:00am service on Sundays features choir and organ throughout most of the year (September-June). During the summer, we worship through hymns and solo music.

Baptism is just the start of a spiritual journey, inviting us more and more deeply into the mystery of faith. Before one is baptized, they make a series of vows about how they intend to live their life with Jesus going forward. If we're baptizing a baby, their parents and Godparents make these promises for them until they're old enough to make them for themselves. And then, the P…

Our faith teaches us that marriage is a sacramental rite in which two persons "enter into a life-long union, make their vows before God and the Church, and receive the grace and blessing of God to help them fulfill their vows" (BCP, p. 861). The union is understood to be intended by God for their mutual joy; for the help and comfort given one another in prosperity and adversity; …

As Christians, we believe that death is a part of God's plan of salvation. It is a time for mourning and a time for bittersweet celebration as we remember the life of a loved one and give thanks for the promise of victory over death by our faith in Jesus Christ. At St. Matt's, we are glad to offer you a place to remember, rest, grieve, and hope. You do not need to walk the path a…
